Internet is back with a crossover that we never anticipated. Courtesy: Laapataa Ladies stars Pratibha Ranta and Sparsh Shrivastava. Bringing the best of both the worlds — Heeramandi and Laapataa Ladies — the talented duo recreated the viral Gaja Gamini walk of Aditi Rao Hydari. The video was posted on Netflix India’s official Instagram handle with the caption, “Hatto jao, we’re looking for Sajni.” For the background, they picked Saiyaan Hatto Jaao from Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.
The wholesome video showcases both Pratibha and Sparsh walking through the corridors of Netflix’s office with a sunflower in their hands. However, it was their walk that immediately captured the Internet’s attention. The duo imitated Aditi’s now-viral walk. Dressed in a grey corset top with matching trousers adorned with unique patterns, Pratibha rocked a chic look. Sparsh, on the other hand, created a contrasting visual as he opted for an all-white ensemble.
The clip also had a text written over it which read, “Kuchh nahi bhai bas Phool ko dhundne jaa rahe hain (Nothing, just going to look for your Phool,” referring to Nitanshi Goel’s character from their film.
Even our Bibbojaan aka Aditi Rao Hydari couldn’t stop herself from commenting on the video. The Heeramandi star, approving their walk, wrote, “Bibbojaan certified! Nailed it guys.”

Meanwhile, Sparsh and Pratibha have been making headlines for their rumoured relationship. The speculations about their relationship began after a video of them dancing to a song from the film Laapataa Ladies went viral. Clearing the air, the actors have now reacted to it. During an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Instagram, Pratibha replied to a fan asking about their relationship status. She said, “Are we dating? Of course not.” Sparsh also joined her in refuting the rumours as he said, “Yaar, ek ladka aur ladki sirf dost bhi ho sakte hain (A guy and a girl can just be friends).”
As for Heeramandi, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial released on Netflix on May 1. Besides Aditi Rao Hydari, the show also stars Sharmin Segal, Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Richa Chaddha among others. The show has been renewed for a second season.
