Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli have teamed up for a new project, tentatively titled SSMB29. Although specific information regarding the film’s official title and storyline remains undisclosed, a source has purportedly revealed details regarding the story of the film.
Although the movie is said to draw inspiration from the Indiana Jones franchise, there’s a viral claim alleging it to be a copy of a Korean film. The truth of this claim remains to be seen. Additionally, there are rumours that Mahesh Babu will showcase a six-pack physique in the movie. Speculation also surrounds the potential female lead with names like Priyanka Chopra or Deepika Padukone being considered for the role.
Other speculations suggest that Mahesh Babu’s character in SS Rajamouli’s forthcoming film draws inspiration from Lord Hanuman. SS Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad, who wrote the story, mentioned in a recent interview that the production team intends to enlist Hollywood actors for an action-adventure narrative set in Africa.
Even though the film is set in the backdrop of an African jungle adventure, Mahesh Babu’s character will embody qualities reminiscent of Lord Hanuman, known for his courage and resilience in navigating challenges within jungles. The character’s journey is anticipated to parallel the narrative arc of the Ramayana, albeit with Rajamouli’s distinctive flair infused into it.
With such esteemed talents and the prospect of a grand-scale production, SSMB29 is undoubtedly evolving into a highly anticipated cinematic spectacle.
As per reports, Mahesh Babu typically charges between Rs 60 to Rs 80 crore per film. However, reports suggest a departure from this norm for SSMB29. Allegedly, the Telugu star is not charging a fee for this project but may instead be entering into a profit-sharing arrangement. According to multiple sources, “Mahesh Babu hasn’t taken any remuneration for this movie. Instead, both he and Rajamouli might share in the film’s profits, which could potentially be more lucrative.” Neither Mahesh Babu nor Rajamouli have responded to these claims as of yet.
