Shooting For Udala’s Dance Number Was Tough, Says Actor Pruthvi Shamanur
The challenging part of this shoot was Pruthvi had to give a solo performance.

Kannada actor Pruthvi Shamanur is currently garnering attention for his upcoming film Udaala, directed by Amol Patil. Pruthvi had an interesting experience while shooting the film. He talked about it in an interview. He had to dance at the Mahatma Gandhi Circle Vijayapura, Karnataka for one of the dance numbers of Udaala. The challenging part of this shoot was Pruthvi had to give a solo performance at this location and there was no supporting crew around him to take part in the song. This situation became awkward for Pruthvi as an autorickshaw driver asked him to stop disrupting the traffic and dance somewhere else. The actor remembered everyone watching him with weird expressions and passing some obnoxious comments. Pruthvi’s shoes were also torn but he kept dancing and continued the shoot somehow. Troubles didn’t end here, as he suffered injuries on his hands and legs and was scolded by his mother for this.

As per Cinema Express, Amol Patil is an erstwhile associate of director Yogaraj Bhat. Amol will make his debut as a filmmaker with Udaala. This film went on floors on February 20, 2024, and is billed to be a youthful drama having a blend of comedy, romance, and action.

Amol Patil hails from North Karnataka; with his background in filmmaking, wanted to direct a film that truly captures the essence of North Karnataka. With Udaala, he is turning that dream into reality. Ravi Shamanur and Yogaraj Bhat are producing this film and its shooting commenced in Bengaluru, with Vijayapura being the primary location for most of the scenes. The duo of Chetan and Daavey composed the music for this film with lyrics for six songs penned by Yogaraj Bhat. Shivshankar Noorambada will be handling the cinematography for this film.

Udaala is set to feature Pruthvi as a tourist guide, while actress Hrithika Shrinivas will play the female lead.
