Ever since Shiv Thakare and Daisy Shah participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, their dating rumours have been making headlines. While the two stars have repeatedly shared that they are just “good friends”, their fans do not think so. Recently, Daisy Shah opened up about her romantic relationship rumours with Shiv and clarified that they are not getting married. The actress shared that they often seek advice from each other but that does not mean they are a couple.
“This is the first time a rumour has reached till marriage. There is nothing between Shiv and me. We are really good friends. The rumours have been doing the rounds because there was a time when I came into this industry, everything was very new and somebody held my hand and guided me. Similarly, when I met Shiv, he had done a lot in the reality space but when it comes to movies, he needs a little guidance. Sometimes, when I’m looking at some reality show, I seek advice from Shiv and sometimes when it’s about movies, Shiv takes advice from me as I’ve some experience regarding it,” Daisy told E-Times.
“The reason why our bond stood out is because we talk a lot with each other. When you start sharing things more, people begin to perceive it as if you’re in a relationship,” the actress added.
This is not the first time that Daisy Shah has dismissed her dating reports with Shiv Thakare. Last year too, the Jai Ho actress broke her silence on the linkup rumours with Shiv and said such things don’t affect their friendship. “The linkup rumours with Shiv Thakare don’t affect our friendship. It’s just that we try to tackle things our way because, till the time we don’t declare that we are dating each other till then, we wouldn’t want the media, people, or fans to judge that we are dating or are a rumoured couple. Let us come out and say. We are just friends, abhi filhaal,” she told ETimes.
Meanwhile, in March this year, Shiv Thakare also addressed their dating rumours when he appeared on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast. “Nahi nahi, kuch nahi tha. Aap ek baar cafe mein jao kisi ke saath, aap ek baar dikh jao, aur dono smile kar lo bas. Aur log kya bolte hain, cute jodi hai (No, there is nothing like that, You go to a cafe with someone, meet someone, and smile at each other and that’s it. People start saying that they are a cute couple),” he said. The Bigg Boss 16 runner-up further called Daisy “a very good friend”.
