Following the success of Three of Us, Shefali Shah is reuniting with Jaideep Ahlawat for the new heist drama Hisaab. While plot and cast details are still under wraps, the film is anticipated to be a thriller inspired by the 2002 hit Aankhein. Directed by Shefali’s husband, Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the project is already in production. Recently, Shefali shared a “July Photo Dump” on Instagram, offering a sneak peek from the set with photos of her in action, along with heartwarming moments with friends and crew members.

In her recent post, Shefali Shah shared a diverse collection of photos from the set. One snapshot features her embracing a nerdy look, while another captures her enjoying time with friends. She also posted a charming photo of herself and her friends on a cloudy day. The Dil Dhadakne Do star gave a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her perspective, including a scene being observed from behind the camera and a candid shot of her in a meeting. Additional images include a cosy shot of her plants and a delectable snap of a gourmet spread with cheese, jam, grapes and dry fruits.

For Hisaab, Vipul Amrutlal Shah returns to the director’s chair after a six-year hiatus. His previous project was Namaste England in 2018, starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra. This upcoming film will mark his third collaboration with Shefali Shah, following their work on the Gujarati film Dariya Chhoru in 1999 and the Bollywood movie Waqt: The Race Against Time. Meanwhile, Hisaab reunites Shefali with Jaideep Ahlawat, who last appeared together in Three of Us, where they portrayed childhood lovers.

According to an India Today report, Vipul Amrutlal Shah is developing a heist universe, with more movies in this genre planned for the future. As per their sources, “After Aankhen, Vipul Amrutlal Shah waited a long time before coming up with another heist film, Hisaab. We also hear that he is reading a few more scripts on heists, which will be next after Hisaab. Vipul has big plans in the cards when it comes to the heist genre.”

For those not aware, Aankhen featured Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Arjun Rampal and Amitabh Bachchan in key roles.
