Sharmin Segal ANSWERS If She Was 'Arrogant' With Heeramandi Co-Star Aditi Rao Hydari: 'My Co-stars Have...'
The clarification comes days after a video of Sharmin Segal went viral on social media in which she called Aditi Rao Hydari a ‘school girl’ for being punctual on sets.

Ever since the release of Heeramandi, several videos of Sharmin Segal surfaced on social media which left many wondering if she was “arrogant” on sets with her co-stars, especially Aditi Rao Hydari and Sanjeeda Sheikh. Recently, Sharmin also opened up about such allegations and explained that her interview clips were “being taken out of context.”

Sharmin revealed that she shared a “cordial” relationship with Aditi and urged people to watch her full interviews rather than judging her based on 10-second edited clips. “Some of my co-stars have spoken graciously as to how these interviews were taken out of context. I share a very cordial equation with both Aditi and Sanjeeda. I wish that people would not use 10-second out-of-context clips to define the relationship I share with them,” Sharmin told Zoom as quoted by Indian Express.

The clarification comes days after Sharmin called Aditi a ‘school girl’ for punctuality on sets. In a viral video on Instagram, Sharmin talked about Aditi when she said, “Aditi is a good school girl, please understand that. Teacher will say you have to submit your home work at this time and Aditi will do exactly that and not one more word than the word count limit. That is Aditi for you. So, according to her everyone is late and she is on time.” The actress was criticised for her behaviour.

Meanwhile, Sharmin was also criticised for her performance in the show. She played the role of Alamzeb in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial. Recently, Sharmin was speaking exclusively to News18 Showsha when she opened up about the trolling and said, “I had given my all to Alamzeb’s character. We tend to fixate on the negatives but there are so many positives that have also come along, which we don’t talk about. It’s perhaps not interesting enough to talk about positives and we tend to look over them to some degree.”

“There was a point when I was not looking at many things [reviews] but then slowly, I realised that I was also missing out on a lot of love that I was getting. I’ve now started paying attention to that. Over the last few days, I decided to look through it all. The audience’s opinion is what will probably help you be the best version of yourself,” the actress added.
