Shahid Kapoor Likes To Experiment With His Looks Unlike Other Actors: ‘I Am Not…’

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Uljha Jiya has finally been released today and fans are loving the romantic comedy-drama. Well, the actor has returned to the romantic genre after a long gap. Recently, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Shahid revealed that he loves to tailor his performances and looks as per the role requirement, unlike other actors who look the same in all films.

Shahid was quoted saying, “I am an actor. I am here to do what the role requires me to do. There are a few actors who love themselves a little too much and no matter what character they play, they like to look the same. I am not one of them. I like to change it up.”  He also added, “I am not here to serve my face. I am here to work on different kinds of scripts and mould myself into the demands of those scripts.”

Talking about Teri Baaton Mein Uljha Jiya, the trailer opens with Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s romantic scenes. Both are seen flirting with each other. However, in the next scene, Shahid is seen introducing her to his family. Till now, he is not aware that Kriti is a robot and what her name Sifra means. As the video proceeds we see how nicely she has adjusted with Shahid’s family till one night she falls dead. Shahid’s aunt Dimple Kapadia informs him that her battery is dead and she is in charging mode. Shahid was shocked and what happens next is more interesting.

He will be next seen in Deva. The actor took to Instagram to announce his new film on the occasion of Dusssehra last year. He also shared the first look in which Shahid appeared to be playing the role of a police officer in the movie. In the photo, Shahid was seen flaunting his short hairdo while holding a gun in his hand. The actor sported a bracelet and wore a half-button shirt with a pair of khakee pants. Shahid completed his look with a pair of sunglasses that reminded us of Kabir Singh. Sharing the photo, Shahid revealed that he is locking Dussehra 2024 for Deva. “DEVA in theatres on Dussehra 11th October 2024,” he wrote. The film also stars Pooja Hegde.
