However, despite this, evening shows in urban centres reported a promising rise in attendance, with ticket sales jumping by 60% as audiences braved the weather to catch the latest release.

Earlier, Radhikka Madan spoke about how playing Rani revitalized her life, saying, “After portraying the urban character ‘Sanaa’, which was quite dark, ‘Rani’ brought a new spark and energy into my life, pulling me out of that zone.”
Sarfira tells the inspiring story of G.R. Gopinath, the visionary who made flying affordable for the common man in India. The film is directed by the acclaimed Sudha Kongara and is the official adaptation of the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru, which won five National Awards.
