New Delhi: After several Bollywood A-listers expressing their opinion over the appointment of TV actor Gajendra Chauhan, Salman Khan has also shared his perspective.
While talking about the ongoing row, the actor stated that the director should listen to the students of the institute who have made the industry.
When CNN-IBN asked Gajendra for his reaction to Salman’s opinion, he said, “There are bound to be differences of opinion. Salman Khan has kept his views," adding, “I am willing to sit with the students...but i have not received any response from the students."
The appointment of Chauhan, who played Yudhisthira in TV serial 'Mahabharat', as the FTII chief had earlier triggered protests among the students as they called for a person of a higher stature to head the institution.
Similar sentiments were also expressed by some of the alumni of the institution.
