Ridhima Pandit Says 'I Don't Even Know Shubman Gill' Amid Their Wedding Rumours
On Friday too, Ridhima Pandit issued a video statement and dismissed reports claiming that she will tie the knot with Shubman Gill in December 2024.

Hours after denying her wedding rumours with Shubman Gill, Ridhima Pandit has said that she does not even know the cricketer. In her recent interaction with an entertainment portal, the Bahu Hamari Rajinikanth actress called their wedding rumours “ridiculous” and mentioned that she is “tired of denying gossip”.

“It is some people’s imagination, I guess! Somebody creates a story, and then it goes viral on social media. I don’t even know Shubman Gill personally. This is ridiculous. I started receiving congratulatory messages since morning, and I was tired of denying this gossip. I finally decided to post it on my social media handle,” Riddhima told Bombay Times.

On Friday too, Ridhima issued a video statement and dismissed reports claiming that she will tie the knot with Gill in December 2024. “I woke up with a lot of calls from journalists asking about my marriage, but what marriage I am not getting married and if something important like this is happening in my life I myself would come out and announce the news, there is no truth to this news,” she said.

Ridhima Pandit is known for television shows like Bahu Hamari Rajnikant and Khatra Khatra Khatra. She was also seen in the first season of Bigg Boss OTT.

Recently, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Ridhima claimed that it is sad that nobody talks about the abuse on television sets. She did not name anyone but recalled an incident when an executive producer of her show did not let her visit her ailing mother in hospital.

“It is true that nobody talks about it. There is a certain form of abuse that does follow. In one of my shows, the producers were nice but the EP (Executive Producer) would mentally harass me. It was during that time I started to discover that my mother was unwell. She was admitted into the ICU. That was very heartbreaking for me to see my mother suffer so much. On the days she was admitted to ICU, the visiting hours were 7 am – 8 am and 4 pm – 5:50 pm,” she said.

“I told him to keep me in the 9 am shift so that I could visit my mother and then come for the shoot or if he wants me to shoot at 7 am, then he must allow me to leave at 4 pm. I told him I could give extra hours but I wasn’t allowed. That was absolutely cruel,” the actress added. She mentioned that actors usually do not speak up because there is a “fear of losing work,” the actress added.
