Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu, prominent figures in the Telugu film industry, exercised their voting rights and cast votes on May 13. They visited their designated polling stations and fulfilled their civic duties. Videos capturing their voting process are going viral on social media. Several celebrities from the Telugu film industry have been encouraging their fans to go out and vote.Ram Charan, accompanied by his wife, Upasana Kamineni Konidela, arrived at his polling booth in Jubilee Hills to cast their votes. Just before the election, Ram Charan visited Pithapuram and met with Jana Sena Party Chief, his uncle Pawan Kalyan, urging the public to vote for him. He was swarmed by thousands of people during his visit to Pithapuram. Ram Charan was on his way to the Kukkuteswara Swamy temple with his mother when fans started cheering for him. Ram Charan greeted his fans and also politely asked them to clear the way. Ram Charan was reportedly visiting the temple to seek blessings after his father, Chiranjeevi was honoured with the Padma Vibhushan award earlier this week in Delhi. The ceremony was attended by his wife Surekha and children Ram Charan and Sushmita. Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Konidela also attended the ceremony. Watch here:

While Pawan Kalyan has paused work to focus on the Lok Sabha elections, Ram Charan is shooting for Game Changer and has projects with other directors. Mahesh Babu is preparing for a new film with SS Rajamouli. Ram Charan is also gearing up for his next project, RC17, which will kick off shortly. Before that, he had announced that filmmaker Sukumar will be joining him for their second collaboration. This film follows their successful partnership in “Rangasthalam,” released six years ago.
