Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor's Mr. & Mrs. Mahi Gets A Thumbs Up From Archana Puran Singh

Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor are gearing up for their upcoming sports drama film Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, which is slated to hit theaters on May 31. The film has already been receiving positive reviews from Bollywood celebrities, including a glowing one from Archana Puran Singh. The actress and TV personality shared her thoughts on the film on her Instagram story. Archana posted a poster of Mr. & Mrs. Mahi along with heartfelt praise for Rajkummar’s performance. She also showered love on the entire team of the film.

“Wow. Just wow Rajkummar Rao. Take a bow. What a film. What a performance. Everyone, please see this wonderful, uplifting, and progressive film! Was blown away by the sincerity and passion of each and everyone in the film,” she added.

Rajkummar Rao acknowledged Archana’s remarks and re-posted her story with the text: “Thank you so much, my dear Ma’am.”

Kunal Kemmu also posted a review on his social media platform. Sharing the poster of the film, Kunal wrote, “Khushi dil mae hoti hai woh bahar nahi milti..Simple, sweet and effective.. all the best to the entire team for this one. Rajkummar Rao, humesha ki tarah behtareen performance (Just like always an outstanding performance).”

Recently, the makers of the film organised a special screening in Mumbai that witnessed the presence of several Bollywood A-listers. Celebrities who attended the special screening included names of Karan Johar, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, Boman Irani, Sparsh Shrivastava, Pratibha Ranta and Nitanshi Goel.

Directed by Sharan Sharma, Mr. & Mrs. Mahi is a romantic sports drama film about a married couple who share a mutual love and passion for cricket. In the film, Rajkummar Rao plays the role of Mahendra Aggarwal, a failed cricketer, while Janhvi Kapoor portrays the character of Mahima Aggarwal, a doctor. The film is slated to hit the theatres on May 31.

Apart from Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, Rajkummar will be gracing the screens in director Amar Kaushik’s horror-comedy film Stree 2 alongside Pankaj Tripathi, Tamannaah Bhatia, Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and more.
