The first schedule of Laggam has been shot in the picturesque location of Kamareddy, a city in Telangana.

The Telugu film Laggam, an action drama, directed by Ramesh Cheppala, was announced only a few weeks back. Soon after the announcement, the film went on floors earlier this month. The makers of the film organised the pooja muhurat which was attended by all the cast members, including the lead actor of the film Rajendra Prasad, popularly known as known as Nata Kireeti. As per the latest update, the film has completed its first leg of the shooting.

Reportedly, the first schedule of Laggam has been shot in the picturesque location of Kamareddy, a city in Telangana. With the completion of the first schedule of the film that began on February 5, the team has begun working toward the next schedule that is expected to commence on February 23. Besides, Rajendra Prasad, the film will also feature Sai Ronak, Ganvi Laxman, Rohini, Saptagiri, LB Sreeram, Krishnudu, Raghu Babu, Raccha Ravi, and Kanakavva, among others in pivotal roles.

Laggam is bankrolled by Venugopal Reddy under Subhishi Entertainments. Additionally, Charan Arjun has been tasked to compose music for the film. Bonthala Nageswara Reddy has come on board as an editor for the film. The film is touted to be a family entertainer reflecting on family values, cultures and traditions. The makers believe that the unique content of the film will make the audience resonate with it and will be enjoyed by the young generation as well.

Recently, at the pooja muhurat of the film on February 5, Rajendra Prasad spoke to the media where he shed light on Laggam and his association with the same. He said, “I am playing a role that no one will ever forget. Laggam is going to be unique. It is special that I am playing such a great role in this movie. This is the best in my career since Pelli Pusthakam. These stories will connect with all the Telugu people. The film is going to be a sumptuous meal for the audience.”

Rajendra Prasad made his debut in the Telugu entertainment industry with the film Sneham in 1977. In his long career, he has delivered numerous hits for which he garnered immense love from his fans and Telugu audience. Laggam is expected to be released by the end of 2024.
