Sushant Singh Rajput will tell the untold story of legendary Indian skipper. Dhoni's journey from an ordinary ticket collector to the captain of cricket team of the nation that worship the sport has been incredible. Sushant looks convincing in the role of a Ranchi boy hailing from a middle class family who later becomes nation's phenomenon.
The film touches upon the life of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and new details about him are to be unveiled through this biopic.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film also stars Kiara Advani, Anupam Kher, Disha Patani and Bhoomika Chawla. The film is scheduled for release on September 30.
