The news of Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor's break up spread like a fire. While speculations were being about a concrete reason, Katrina Kaif happened to attend a close friend, Ali Abbas Zafars birthday party where Salman Khan was also present.
This set rumour mills abuzz about a 'secret' meeting of this ex-couple of Bollywood. Reports were doing the rounds that Salman's 'Sultan' team was meeting up in a restaurant for a bash and Katrina allegedly decided to join them after her breakup with Ranbir. Upset by such false speculations, Katrina Kaif finally issued a statement via her spokesperson.
"Ali Abbas Zafar is Katrina's close friend and she attends his birthday party every year and this year was no different. Ali is directing Sultan with Salman, which is why he was on the guest list, along with a whole bunch of other people, including Kabir Khan. There was no secret meeting between Katrina and Salman. Request people to please have some respect and not construct stories which are untrue." reads the statement.
Katrina Kaif has been maintaining a dignified silence about her breakup throughout the media interactions of 'Fitoor'. Her film with Aditya Roy Kapoor is slated to be release on February 12.
