Kapil Sharma Begins Shooting With Sunil Grover For New Show, Krushna Abhishek Promises 'Bahut Mazaa'

Months after Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover surprised all by announcing a new show together, it has now been reported that have begun working on the upcoming show. Krushna Abhishek, who will also be joining the two actor-comedians in the show, revealed the same in one of his recent interviews. He expressed excitement for the upcoming comic stint and added that it will definitely make the audience go ROFL.

“We all have come together for a new show now. Sunil Grover has also resumed the show. Sunil is a fantastic actor and to watch him performing live is something else. He is very good and par excellence. Bahut mazaa aayega sabko unko dekh kar, joh Sunil ne Ek naya character kiya hai abhi is amazing, it is very good. I really loved it and I told him also that you are really good,” Krushna told E-Times.

For the unversed, Sunil Grover became a household name after his fictional characters Gutthi and Dr Mashoor Gulati became extremely popular in Comedy Nights With Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show respectively. However, in 2018, the two comedians had an ugly fight on a flight while they were returning from a show in Australia. Sunil then stopped working with Kapil and the two didn’t speak to each other up until last year.

However, late last year, Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover joined hands again when they announced their Netflix show. While not much details about the show are known as of now, the rest of the cast includes Rajiv Thakur, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, and Archana Puran Singh.

Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma was last seen in Nandita Das’ Zwigato. On the other hand, Sunil Grover shared the screen recently with Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan. Released in September 2023, the film also featured Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Sanya Malhotra in key roles.
