After months of alleged rift, the discord between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez is out in the open as the couple is undergoing divorce proceedings. While their high-profile relationship is nearing its end, Affleck’s name has already been linked to Kathleen ‘Kick’ Kennedy, the eldest daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. A media source suggested a budding camaraderie between the two and shared that the two have been spending time together. Reportedly, the rumours of Affleck dating Kick, nearly 20 years younger than him, have also reached Jennifer Lopez, leaving the actress furious.

According to an inside source of In Touch, an American celebrity gossip magazine, JLo was in no mood to let these rumours go by so easily while Affleck mentioned he would not explain whom he is friends with and wanted to wrap up the divorce as soon as possible.

While talking about Jlo’s reaction, the source said, “She’s livid at the thought that he’s been chasing tail at the same time when she was fighting tooth and nail to save the marriage. There’s no way she’s willing to let this go.”

However, the Gone Girl actor’s representative has denied the dating rumours. Affleck’s spokesperson, Jen Allen, in a statement, cleared the air and said, “There is no truth to any of it. I don’t know if they even know each other.”

Furthermore, the inside source also claimed Affleck is ready to move on with his life and will not stay single for long. The source explained, “The fact is Kick is young and gorgeous and just his type. It’s no wonder everyone’s assuming something is going on, even if Ben’s trying to downplay it.”

Talking about her reaction, the source said, “She’s devastated, and the news that Ben’s dating a woman nearly 20 years younger than her, whether he admits it or not, is only making her more upset.”

After their July wedding in 2022, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are currently going through a divorce. The actress filed to end their marriage earlier this month in Georgia.

While the separation date has been stated as April 26, Lopez also asked to change her name to her maiden one, Jennifer Lynn Lopez. “It’s been incredibly difficult for her that Ben chose to pull away from their marriage and move on with his life, leaving her behind,” a source told People.
