Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan, who has films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Guest Iin London, to his credit, believes that content should be prioritised rather than the genres.
"I don't believe in getting stereotyped. I think if something is working for me, I'll continue to do it. Apart from that, if I'm offered something good content wise, which is interesting and at the same time, different, I'll be happy to do it."
"I don't look for different genres, I just look for good content. So if I'm getting stereotyped in the process, I don't mind that," he said on the sidelines of Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2018 while speaking to News18.com.
The actor, who'll next be seen in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, added that stereotyping in Bollywood is a common process. "It happens with a lot of actors, because if something works, then they are offered the same kind of roles and scripts," he said.
On being asked about his film, Aaryan said, "It's a fun film. Sonu is a very street smart character, lovable and someone who is very possessive about his friend. I think the film is one of its kind as it's the first time were showing a battle between bromance and romance."
The actor turned showstopper for designer Amit Wadhwa, who showcased an impressive line-up of gender neutral collection. The ensembles spanned from casuals to semi-formals and experimented with an interesting colour palette.
