Bollywood has many actors who appeared in a number of hit films, but were not able to leave a strong impact with their work due to certain reasons. There is one actor who was able to stay financially strong despite having an average film career, thanks to his business strategies. Can you guess who this actor is? According to Vivek himself, he ventured into the world of business before he became an actor. He said in an interview that at the age of 15, he started earning his own money through small jobs. While he was in school, he participated in voice gigs and other shows for money.
As per reports, he also received an amount of Rs 500 as pocket money from his father, Suresh Oberoi. He saved the money and decided to invest it in the stock market. After taking training from brokers, he created a portfolio at the age of 16 to 17. Then by 19, he set up a business in Whitefield, Bangalore. And when he turned 21, Vivek sold his stake for higher studies in New York. Report further states that he has invested in around 29 companies.
Vivek Oberoi is an owner of a production company called Oberoi Mega Entertainment and a real estate company called Karma Infrastructure. More information states that he is also the co-founder of Svarnim University and has investments in several startups. According to the reports of GQ India, the actor has a net worth of Rs 124 crore.
The actor was last seen in the series Indian Police Force, a Rohit Shetty directorial, which streamed on Amazon Prime Video. The show also starred Sidharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty.
