Dhanush is set to be back on the big screens with his upcoming Raayan. The makers have unveiled the film’s first single, titled Adangaatha Asuran, creating a lot of buzz among the fans. Actor-filmmaker Selvaraghavan, Dhanush’s elder brother has expressed his joy at the release, praising the song on social media. The lyrical video of Adangaatha Asuran was released on May 9, on YouTube. Selvaraghavan took to his X handle (formerly Twitter) to praise the song, sharing the link. The filmmaker tweeted in Tamil, which roughly translates to, “Song Full My Leader @arrahman It’s the kingdom!! I have never heard such a song in my life! Heart touching music! @dhanushkraja.” The tweet was liked by more than 4,000 likes, while gaining over 150,000 views on the platform.

Composed and co-sung by AR Rahman, the lyrics and vocals of the song are given by the film’s lead, Dhanush. The actor shared the song on his X account with a tweet. The lyrical video of the song was shared on the YouTube channel of Sun TV, the production banner behind the film. The video showcases a fierce lyrical animation, featuring a glimpse from the song’s behind the scenes with A R Rahman.

The film is helmed as well as written by Dhanush, making it his second directorial.
