Reverse strategy works well in marketing, but nobody thought that it would emerge as a powerful tool for Rimi Sen in ‘Bigg Boss’. The actress, who appeared in hits such as ‘Dhoom’, ‘Hungama’, ‘Golmaal-Fun Unlimited’, etc. is making waves as a contestant in ‘Bigg Boss Double Trouble’, without making much efforts.

‘Bigg Boss’ has been a hot spot for wannabe actors, model and sportspersons desperately seeking attention. The housemates infamously pull up antics and gimmicks to ensure that they remain in news and get instant fame. But, Rimi has tried a different trick which is bringing in maximum votes and has helped her to elevate her popularity.

Right from the start, Rimi Sen has been reluctant to be on the show, but, has managed to sail through a long way. Everyone thought that Rimi was on ‘Bigg Boss’ to revive her filmi-career which is now almost defunct, but, she has come across as an irritatingly bored contestant, making a nagging plea to be eliminated from the house.

She has tried every trick in the book, to show her disinterest in the game. It has now gone to an extent that fellow housemates have started to openly lambast her.

In the recent episode Salman Khan also grilled her for her inactivity. Rimi was Salman’s co-star in ‘Kyonki’ and Salman has been pushing her to show some ‘spunk’, but, the actress is playing her ‘reluctant’ card too well.

Donning a bright-coloured lipstick, Rimi sits through all kind of nasty comments made on her. She is hell-bent to prove that she has immense capacity to consume criticism and attacks on her.

Poker Face contestant: No amount of provocation can change Rimi Sen’s attitude, which has remained constant so far. She claimed to be ‘un-ambitious’ in real life, and doesn’t intend to participate in the routine gimmicks. Housemates like Rochelle Maria Rao, Kishwar and Suyyash Rai have openly lambasted her for her complacent approach, but, nothing could change Rimi’s game plan.

Highly paid celebrity: Rumours are floating that Rimi is the highest paid contestant of the season. This has made the audience more curious. Former 'Bigg Boss' contestant Gautam Gulati revealed to a leading daily that Rimi received huge money as the signing amount and would be leaving the house as a millionaire, despite not actually winning the show.

Bored look to confuse the audience: Salman Khan revealed that Rimi has been getting maximum votes. Initially, it was presumed that loyal fans of Rimi have been voting for her, but going by her dormant status, one can conclude that it is her mysteriously silent persona which has made the audience drawn towards. Perhaps that’s the reason why she has been getting maximum votes from the audience.

Housemates evict but votes save her: The housemates have seemingly lost patience to cope with Rimi’s rigid behaviour. Many of them have openly expressed their annoyance and have ganged up to eliminate her from the show, but the audience are so convinced that she is getting saved each week.
