Going by the notice sent, students have to call off the strike or they will have to face disciplinary action which may involve expulsion.
New Delhi: In a recent development to the strike at Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) over the appointment of TV actor Gajendra Chauhan, the director of the Pune-based film school has now issued a notice to students.
Going by the notice sent, students have to call off the strike or they will have to face disciplinary action which may involve expulsion.
The appointment of Chauhan, who played Yudhisthira in TV serial 'Mahabharat', as the FTII chief had earlier triggered protests among the students as they called for a person of a higher stature to head the institution.
Similar sentiments were also expressed by some of the alumni of the institution.
