If you have missed out on watching Thalapathy Vijay’s The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) in the theatres, don’t worry. The espionage spy thriller is all set to be aired on OTT. While the dates have been still kept under wraps, the recent buzz is that the film will be available for streaming after about four weeks of its theatrical release. If the reports are anything to go by, the film will premiere on Netflix. However, what has our undivided attention is that GOAT’s extended version will be released on OTT.

In a recent interview with the media, GOAT’s director, Venkat Prabhu shared some insights about the film and revealed that the Thalapathy Vijay-led project had a longer runtime. He added that the uncut version of the film will be released for streaming on OTT platforms. He revealed that the original runtime of the film was 3 hours and 20 minutes. However, he had to trim down the film to meet the standard requirements of the theatres, which came down to 3 hours and 3 minutes.

Seeing the gaga over Thalapathy Vijay’s penultimate film, the team has decided to share the deleted scenes with the audience after the theatrical release. The extended version of the film will include all the removed scenes, and you can watch this on Netflix.

Thalapathy Vijay’s The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) has been busy shattering box office records since its release. As per the makers, within four days, the film has grossed over Rs 288 crore. It is the 8th film of Thalapathy Vijay which has crossed Rs 100 crore gross in Tamil Nadu in the opening weekend.

The GOAT is directed by Venkat Prabhu and features Thalapathy Vijay in a double role. The cast also includes Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Ajmal Ameer, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sneha, Laila, Mohan and Jayaram in pivotal roles. Produced by AGS Entertainment, the film’s music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni and editing by Venkat Raajen. The film was made with a budget of about Rs 400 crore which makes it one of the most expensive Tamil films to date.
