Baahubali: The Conclusion has taken the Indian Cinema to a whole new level. Apart from creating excitement, this movie has become a culture of sorts. From the graphics, the songs, the acting to the action-packed sequences, it was enough to blow the viewers' minds. This action bomb was dropped on April 28 and it smashed all existing box office records.
With the earnings of over Rs 2,000 crore worldwide and still counting, SS Rajamouli's magnum opus continues to run to packed houses in over 1,000 screens. While most films struggle to run for over 2 weeks, Baahubali 2 has completed its 50 days of run at cinemas across the country.
The fans started preaching the movie and everything that they could derive out of it - be it Baahubali-print saris or similar themed-tattoos.
In Bollywood's race, super actor Aamir Khan's Dangal has left behind Baahubali 2and has turned out to be the highest grossing Indian film in China.
However, according to trade analysts, Baahubali 2 is expected to release in China with a grand opening in July. The Hindi version of Baahubali 2 alone collected more than Rs 500 crores, while the film earned close to Rs 300 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In Tamil Nadu, Baahubali 2 is now the highest grossing Tamil film and has beaten Rajinikanth's Enthiran record.
The first part of the movie - Baahubali: The Beginning left the audience with the suspense as to why Katappa killed Amarendra Baahubali and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion unveils the plot of the story leaving the audience longing for more.
The film stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.
