Akshay Kumar has come a long way in his career. He is one of the most successful actors and has been ruling the hearts of his fans for a long time. As he gears up for his next release Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar recently revealed his future plans. He shared that he wants to purchase an apartment in the building where his childhood was spent.
In a conversation at The Ranveer Show, Akshay Kumar said that he still visits his old house in Bandra East and also his school Don Bosco. “Every month, I visit my school, Don Bosco, in the early hours at around 4 am. I also go to my old house in the Sion-Koliwada area in Mumbai. I pay a visit to my old residence at Bandra East, too. I ensure I go inside the Don Bosco Church. The watchman knows and he allows me to go inside. I have no business there par mujhe accha lagta hai wahan jahan, apne purane ghar pe jana (I feel good going to these places… my old house) It is imperative for me to remind myself where I come from.”
Akshay Kumar further said that he wants to purchase a house on third floor of the building. “The building where we lived in family is being rebuilt and I want to buy a flat on the third floor because I lived there. I have fond memories of living in the apartment where my sister and I would wait by the window for our father to return from work. That visual is still there in my mind. We used to pluck guavas from the tree. I still do that whenever I visit the place. I want to be in touch with that,” added the actor.
Coming to his upcoming film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, the film will now release in theatres on April 11, on the occasion of Eid, the film’s leading men announced on Instagram. Akshay and Tiger, who are currently in the UAE to promote their film, took to Instagram to share a video explaining the reason for the delay. The film was originally scheduled to release on 10th April.
