Marathi serial Aai Kuthe Kay Karte was a breath of fresh air upon its premiere. Headlined by Madhurani Gokhale-Prabhulkar as Arundhati, the serial saw various twists and turns in its plot which catapulted it to its pinnacle of success. It quickly gained fame and became the most-watched serial on television. Since its inception, the serial has always maintained the top position in the TRP (Television Rating Point or Target Rating Point) race, but recently, it took a hit. Aai Kuthe Kay Karte first aired on 23 December 2019 and is now available on Disney plus Hotstar. It shows the struggles of Arundhati, who dedicates her life to looking after her family and their needs. Because of her unconditional love, she is taken for granted and decides to carve out her own identity. The serial has shown various ups and downs in her life and imparted a good message. It was in the top five, but now, because of a drastic change in the plot, the TRP has suffered. Since its inception four years back, the serial has garnered the lowest TRP till now.
Aai Kuthe Kay Karte shows a new journey Arundhati is set to embark on. It shows the death of her second husband, Ashutosh. She comes back to live with her first in-laws and shows how she is grieving. The confidence she had regained after her marriage to Ashutosh has once again disappeared and she is heartbroken. Reportedly, the audience is quite displeased with this sudden change in the story in the promo. Earlier, the show used to air during prime time, which is 07:30 pm. But after its TRP has fallen, the timing of the show has been changed and is now shifted to the afternoon slot at 2 pm.
As per reports, the show which has the highest TRP right now is Tharala Tar Mag with 7.1. In the second position is Premachi Ghoshta with 6.8 TRP. Star Pravah Parivaar Puraskar 2024 ranks 3 with 6.8 TRP. On the fourth rank is Lakshmichya Pavalani with 6.5 TRP and Gharoghari Matichya Chuli is fifth with 6.4 TRP. Aai Kuthe Kay Karte has dropped to 16th rank in the list with just 3.4 TRP.
