Dell has joined forces with actress and model Nikki Reed on an innovative collaboration presented at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Together, they are launching a collection of jewelry made from recycled gold recovered from e-waste, reports Women's Wear Daily (WWD).
Nikki Reed and computer maker Dell have teamed up on a joint collection of jewelry crafted from recycled gold, created in partnership with the American actress's sustainable apparel, accessories and beauty company Bayou With Love.
The innovative and original collection, called "The Circular Collection by Bayou with Love," includes rings, earrings and cufflinks in 14-18 karat recycled gold. The metal used to make this collection comes from old computer motherboards. It is recovered via Dell's device recycling programs using an environmentally responsible extraction process.
This initiative, which could inspire wider change in jewelry manufacturing, can be viewed and ordered online at https://bayouwithlove.com with prices starting from $78. Items are designed by Nikki Reed and made in the USA.
