Kim Kardashian West's debut fragrance line went on sale barely a week ago, but the star's trio of fragrances has already sold out.
According to the official KKW Fragrance Instagram account, online stocks of the fragrances sold out within a matter of days, following the launch on November 15. However, on Wednesday the brand uploaded a new photo of all three scents, alongside the caption: "Back by popular demand, all three fragrances will be back in stock this Thursday at 6pm PST only at KKWFRAGRANCE.COM."
The fragrance trio, the first under reality TV star and entrepreneur Kardashian's new ‘KKW Fragrance' label, comprises three scents based on the gardenia flower. The lineup includes ‘Crystal Gardenia,' which features notes of water lily, gardenia, tiara flower and velvet tuberose, ‘Crystal Gardenia Oud' which opens with top notes of bergamot, lavender, red rose and jasmine and has base notes of oud, and ‘Crystal Gardenia Citrus', which boasts top notes of sparkling citrus, woods and musks.
According to Elle.com, the first batch of perfumes consisted of 300,000 bottles of scent. Kim eschewed advertising, opting to promote the launch solely through social media, where she has more than 57 million followers on Twitter and 104 million on Instagram. However, the success of the launch should come as no surprise, given that the debut products from her KKW Beauty line sold out in two hours when they first launched back in June.
