The Franco-American model and actress Lily-Rose Depp -- who has been close to Chanel for several years already -- fronts the French luxury label's new Rouge Coco makeup campaign. With the new ads, the star of the movie Planetarium pays a vibrant homage to her mother, Vanessa Paradis, one of Chanel's most emblematic muses.
After fronting the "N°5 L'EAU" fragrance in 2016, Lily-Rose Depp became the face of the Chanel Rouge Coco campaign one year later, showcasing a whole series of lipsticks with various textures and finishes. In 2018, the French luxury label has once again signed up the daughter of Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp to show off new shades of Rouge Coco, as well as a new product called Rouge Coco Lip Blush.
With this new campaign, Lily-Rose Depp and Chanel pay tribute to Vanessa Paradis. The 18-year-old model can be seen nonchalantly swinging on a swing, clearly evoking Jean-Paul Goude's legendary 1992 campaign for the "Coco" fragrance. This time around, the print campaign is by Patrick Demarchelier.
