Lyricist, poet and screenwriter Javed Akhtar turns 75 on January 15. He was born to Bollywood songwriter and Urdu poet Jan Nisar Akhtar and Safia Akhtar, a singer, teacher and writer.
Be it in the 80’s or the recent times, the Padma Shri awardee has written penned soulful songs in the Bollywood industry since 1971.
