Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian appear to be following in sister Kim's footsteps by making their mark on the beauty industry.
Fashion designer Khloe, 33, who heads up the denim brand Good American, has filed for permission to trademark the names "KOKO Kollection by Khloé Kardashian" and "KOKO Kollection" as cosmetics ventures, TMZ reports. The news comes days after the site reported that her elder sister Kourtney, 38, has also filed to register the name "Kourt" as a cosmetics brand.
While Khloe has yet to give any indication of what her plans might entail, Kourtney recently took to social media to share a few sketch options of the logo "Kourt," with branded stationery from little sister Kylie Jenner's ‘Kylie Cosmetics' brand also in the shot. The move sparked speculation among fans that a makeup collaboration between the two could be in the works.
Of course, both sisters will have access to some stellar advice about breaking into the beauty industry -- which is fast becoming the family business. Kylie Cosmetics has grown into a cult-status global beauty brand since it burst onto the scene in 2015 as a purveyor of ‘lip kits', with WWD reporting last summer that the company is on track to rake in $1 billion by 2022. Last year also saw Kim Kardashian West get in on the act with the launch of ‘KKW Beauty' and ‘KKW Fragrance.' The two brands became an instant hit, with the cosmetic collections and a debut perfume trio selling out within a matter of days.
