New Delhi: About 100 youths on Wednesday held demonstrations and burnt effigy of Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf to protest his double-speak on India-Pakistan relations in the wake of the recent Mumbai blasts.
The demonstrators, who came under the 'Muslim Yuva Atankwad Virohi Samiti (MYAVS) banner, also burnt the Pakistan flag and submitted a memorandum with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh demanding that talks with the neighbouring country be stopped until its rulers showed sincerity.
The activists demanded that Pakistan, first hand over '20 most wanted' including Dawood Ibrahim to India before any meaningful dialogue could be initiated with it.
The MYAVS activists said only after this, the genuine talks were possible between the two countries.
