Youth entrepreneurs felicitated

CHENNAI:  The Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust (BYST), supported by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), on Wednesday felicitated three young Indian entrepreneurs, who have been selected for the ‘International Business Awards’ by the Youth Business International (YBI), London.TM Bhasin, the chairman and managing director of Indian Bank, gave away the mementoes at a function.The winners Vaidhyanathan and Haja are from Chennai while Bhausaheb Janjire is from Pune. They will receive the awards from YBI at a ceremony in November in London. BYST and Indian Bank jointly supported these entrepreneurs.While Vaidhyanathan, man behind V Cube Automation that produces unique automatic water level controller, was selected as the winner of the ‘Environmental Entrepreneur of the Year’ award, Haja, founder of Hafa Frozen Foods, was short-listed for the overall YBI Entrepreneur of the Year.Bhausaheb Janjire from Pune was selected as the winner of the ‘YBI Ambassador of the Year’ award. He has been awarded the title for his efforts to promote the work of BYST and YBI. His core business is in providing turnkey solutions to industries such as telecom, power and health care. Bhasin congratulated the entrepreneurs and recalled the bank’s association with BYST for grooming entrepreneurship.
