New Delhi: Mark Webber has vowed to remain silent for now about what was said between Michael Schumacher and himself in their private talk at Silverstone last weekend to discuss the Monaco incident - but says he will tell the story one day.
The Williams driver chose to go and see Schumacher face-to-face on the Thursday night of the British Grand Prix to hear first hand the Ferrari driver's explanation for stopping on the track in Monaco.
Their meeting, which also included talks about other safety matters, lasted for about 20 minutes and meant Webber chose to skip Friday night's Grand Prix Drivers' Association (GPDA) meeting where the matter was discussed further.
Sources close to Webber have suggested that the Australian was not impressed with Schumacher's explanation for Monaco – but the Australian is keeping tight-lipped about the episode.
"I spoke to him myself, and it was better to do it like that and not in the GPDA meeting with 20 guys in the way," explained Webber.
"I will tell you one day what we spoke about. But it's not fair to say anything now. The discussion we had is between us. I got a lot more out of it than the other meeting."
Webber did not comment about whether his views on Schumacher had changed after the meeting, having said ahead of it that he has lost some respect for Schumacher.
"Obviously we are all disappointed with Monaco because he stopped other people from doing their laps," he explained.
