Uri Terror Attack: Sushma Swaraj To Take On Pakistan at UNGA
Sushma Swaraj is all geared to corner Pakistan in her address at the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly

At Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting on Monday over the terror attack in Uri , the mood was sombre and grim.

It was clear to the top ministers that the PM was very shaken and determined to hit back.

But it was also clear that an immediate strike or any kneejerk reaction was not the way out.

Surprisingly, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj was not a part of the meeting, but the word afterwards was that she would be the aggressive face of India at the UN General Assembly in New York on September 26.

Sources have exclusively told CNN-News18 the tone and content of Swaraj's speech.

On Uri, she will mince no words and will highlight Pakistan's role in it as also in the Pathankot killings earlier .

This apart, the obvious and clear patronage given to Hafeez Sayeed and Dawood Ibrahim by Pakistan will be raised.

The unrest in Kashmir because of meddling by Pakistan is also on Sushma's list.

While Nawaz will prominently raise the issue of alleged human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir, Sushma will raise the matter of human rights violation in Balochistan.

The fact that Balochistan Republican Party leader Brahumdagh Bugti formally sought asylum in Delhi will be showcased as proof.

The Prime Minister has decided to isolate Pakistan internationally and shame it on the world stage.

UNGA offers this platform and the key point which India wants to assert is that it has the right to protest and that the world should support this protest.

What's your reaction?
