Two electrocuted in Ottappalam

PALAKKAD: Two persons were electrocuted in Panamanna near Ottappalam after accidentally coming into contact with a live barbed wire fence in the compound of the farm of one of them.    The deceased are Saidalvi, 65, of Paramel house, Ambalavattom, and his worker, Parukutty, 62, daughter of Narayanan, of Chakkiyavil, Ambalavattom.The Ottappalam police said that the incident happened in the farm of Saidalvi. Parukutty first came in contact with the live wire fencing put up around the compound of Saidalvi.She suffered burns and finally succumbed to injuries. Saidalvi also came in contact with the live wire and died. A case has been registered by the police.
