Two cinema houses sealed

PUDUCHERRY: Two cinema houses were sealed by authorities here on Tuesday following their failure to renew licences as per the Pondicherry Cinemas (Regulation) rules 1966. The cinemas, Big Cinema Screen I and Screen II (popularly known Jeeva, Rukmani), were sealed by a team of officials.Sources revealed that the movie theatres of Adlabs had not renewed the licences and were issued show cause notices also. Their licences had expired on September 9.
