CHENNAI: Professor C M K Reddy along with Prof J S Rajkumar recently released a DVD on Clinical Signs in Surgery at the Annapoorna Hall, Raj Bhavan. Tamil Nadu Governor Dr K Rosaiah was present on the occasion, he said, “Health forms the basis of a man’s ethical, economic, artistic and spiritual activities. The advancements in medical science in the last two decades have been extraordinary. The CT, MRI, keyhole and robotic surgery has revolutionised diagnosis and treatment of diseases.”The DVD will alter the current trend in medicine to a greater extent and would help doctors examine systematically, cut down on the number of tests to be made, relieving the anxiety of most patients, he added. The Governor congratulated the professors and to all those who were associated with them in compiling the DVD.
