THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: It was a day when students had their say. Last Friday saw the Principal and teachers of Christ Nagar International School giving way to students who took over the entire running of the school.Wearing traditional Kerala attire, the students of Grades IX and XI became the tutors.Earlier in the day, Principal Fr Josey Kollammalil symbolically handed over the power (‘Bharana Chakra’) to student principal Sreeraj Kaniamparampil and student vice-principal Saira Nujoom Muhammed of Grade XI at a ceremony attended by Fr Robin Anandankattu, Bursar and Thomas Mani, Academic Coordinator of Christ Nagar Group of Schools.The student teachers conducted classes for Grades I to VIII. The students were assessed based on their lesson plan, class control, worksheets, the content and the language.
