KOCHI: One more petition related to medical PG admissions has been filed before the Kerala High Court. The petition was filed by four self-financing medical colleges under the Christian Professional College Managements Federation challenging the government order directing them to cancel the admissions made to government quota seats and directing the Director of Medical Education to fill those seats. The federation submitted in the petition that they had offered 50 per cent seats to the government though they were not legally obliged to do so.“However, the government did not respond despite repeated letters in this regard. Therefore the managements went ahead and filled the seats on merit basis,” the petition said.Amala, Jubilee, Kolenchery Medical Mission and Pushpagiri Medical Colleges under the federation were sanctioned medical PG course this year.
