SBI has launched one of its largest direct recruitment drive that aims at recruiting 9000 clerical cadre staff for the post of Junior Associate in its Customer Support and Sales department. The Preliminary Examination is expected to be organized in the month of March/April 2018 while Main Examination is scheduled for May 2018. Candidates interested in pursuing their banking career with India’s largest money lender – State Bank of India can follow the instructions below and apply online on or before 10th February 2018.

Step 2 - Under latest notifications, click on “Recruitment Of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) In State Bank Of India”

Step 3 - Under the ‘Recruitment Of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) In State Bank Of India, Advertisement No. CRPD/CR/2017-18/10’, click on ‘Apply Online’

Step 4 -Click on ‘Click here for New Registration’ to register yourself

Step 5 - Login with your registration credentials and fill the application form, upload photo and signature, pay the application fee and complete the application process

Step 6 - Download the confirmation page and take a print out for further reference

Eligibility Criteria:

Individuals already working in SBI in clerical or officer are not eligible to apply.

Age Limit:

The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 20 to 28 years. Age relaxation rules apply.

Educational Qualification:

1. The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University or Institution.

2. Applicants must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding the local language of the state they are applying in.

3. Applicants with Integrated Dual Degree Certificate must ensure that their date of passing the IDD falls on or before 1st January 2018.

4. Matriculate ex-servicemen who possess the Indian Army special certificate of education or equivalent certificate from the Indian Navy or Air Force are eligible to apply, provided they have completed minimum 15 years of service in the armed forces.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of Preliminary Examination, which will be followed by Main Examination. Candidates who qualify Mains will be eligible to appear for Language Test.

Preliminary Exam Pattern

The Preliminary Exam will comprise of 100 Objective Type Questions carrying 1 mark each, divided into English Language (30 Questions), Numerical Ability (35 Questions) and Reasoning Ability (35 Questions) sections. Candidates will be given 1 hour to attempt the Preliminary Examination.

Main Exam Pattern

The Main Exam will comprise of 190 questions divided into General/Financial Awareness (50 questions), General English (40 questions), Quantitative Aptitude (50 questions), Reasoning Ability and Compute Aptitude (50 questions). All questions will carry 1 mark each except the last section which will be of 60 marks. Negative marking will apply, deducting ¼ mark for each wrong Objective answer. Candidates will be given 2 hours and 40 minutes to attempt the Main Examination.
