Melbourne: Samresh Jung carried on with his gold-grabbing spree as he won the 10 m air pistol individual event gold in the XVIII Commonwealth Games on Wednesday.
Mick Gault of England won the silver, while India's Vivek Singh bagged the bronze medal.
With this, Samresh has won five gold medals in this year's Games, equalling swimmer Hayley Lewis's 1990 Commonwealth record of five gold medals.
Having also won a silver, and with two more events to go, Samresh looks certain to create a new Games record for the maximum individual gold medals.
