HYDERABAD: Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has approved a proposal for reservation in promotions for the physically challenged on a par with Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe employees in all categories of government services where the number of posts are more than five.Besides, he sanctioned 205 supervisor posts in all the nine ITDA projects.Following the chief minister's decision, the rule of reservation in promotion is sought to be extended to disabled employees in all services in the state government on a par with promotions being implemented for SCs and STs where the cadre strength is more than five.The departments have to adopt the roster points number 6, 31 and 56 as is being implemented for direct recruitment. In addition, Kiran Kumar Reddy sanctioned 205 supervisor posts in all the nine ITDA projects of Paderu, KR Puram, Parvathipuram, Seethampet, Bhadrachalam, Utnoor, Chenchu, Rampachodavaram and Eturnagaram.He proposed to fill all supervisory posts in tribal areas with local ST girls by relaxing qualification and 100 percent vacancies of supervisors of grade-I will be reserved in favour of local ST girls who possess Intermediate qualification.The chief minister also sanctioned 607 teaching posts and outsourcing of 388 non-teaching posts for 65 newly sanctioned degree colleges. He has also agreed to amend rules for availing the Pavala Vaddi scheme.Self-help groups will now get grace period from 15 to 30 days to pay the instalment, irrespective of date of sanction of loan.Other decisions* Preference to ST girls in ITDA selections * 607 teaching posts in 65 new degree colleges * 388 non-teaching employees to be outsourced * Grace period for SHGs to repay Pavala Vaddi loans
