Noida: The Noida Special Task Force (STF) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) have arrested six accused who were involved in making and circulating obscene video clips showing sexual abuse and harassment.
The CBI had declared Rs 1 lakh reward for identification and arrest of the miscreants.
A case in this regard was filed by the CBI following the Supreme Court guidelines after a Hyderabad based NGO, Prajwala filed a petition in February 2015. The first arrest was made in Odisha last year, another clip in circulation was suspected to have come from Western UP following which the CBI sought help of the Special Task Force.
The Noida STF identified the men in the video and handed them over to the CBI for further investigation.
