The Congress has not made up its mind on the issue, says party spokesperson.
New Delhi: The Congress has not decided whether there should be a sub-quota for Muslims in reservations given to weaker sections of society.
"It is a larger question on which no formal decision has been taken," said Congress spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi.
Singhvi’s statement came after Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's speech to a Dalit, minority conference during which he said his government was committed to removing "inequities" and "imbalances" faced by Muslims.
