Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet US President Barack Obama on September 28 during his trip to the country to attend 70th annual session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Modi will be in New York on September 24 and 25 to address the UN summit on Sustainable Development. On September 26 and 27, he will be in California to interact with tech companies in Silicon Valley as well as the Indian diaspora. And the next day he will return to New York to hold bilateral talks with Obama.

In a five-day visit to the US in September 2014, Modi had met Obama and sought investment from prominent CEOs besides exhorting the Indian-American community to take up a greater role in the development of India.

Obama had visited India in January as the chief guest for the Republic Day parade.
