Maharashtra FDA mulls action against Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Manoj Vajpayee for appearing in pan masala advertisements

Mumbai: In more trouble for Bollywood actors, the Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration is considering issuing notices to Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Manoj Vajpayee for appearing in pan masala advertisements.

The Maharashtra government also aims to take action as the actors promoted pan masala as a product safe for consumption.

Pan masala is banned in Maharashtra.

Shah Rukh Khan is already being targetted for his remarks on rising intolerance with Bharatiya Janata Party MP comparing him with Pakistan terrorist and 2008 Mumbai terror attacks chief Hafiz Saeed and accusing him of tarnishing country's image.
