Madonna has fallen in love with Rajasthani ghoomar and dandiya dance.

Jodhpur: Pop diva Madonna has been so charmed by Rajasthani folk music and dance during her stay here that she is planning to incorporate bits of it in her future album.

Madonna, who was in Rajasthan on a leisure trip with her husband, son and other family members, fell in love with not only the Rajasthani folk songs but the traditional ghoomar and the dandiya dance too, say sources.

"Rajasthani folk songs and dances fascinated Madonna. She especially liked the song Nimbura Nimbura and might even make a remake of it in English and have some steps of ghoomar in her performances," a source told IANS.

Madonna popularised henna tattooing through her album, which set off a trend to put mehandi on the hands in America and Britain. She reportedly loved every bit of her five-day Rajasthan holiday.

"She said that Rajasthan is even more beautiful than what she imagined. She liked Rajasthani cuisine, especially dal and chapattis made of bajra (millet)," the source added.

On Thursday night, she had dressed up in traditional Rajasthani attire of ghagra and choli (long skirt and blouse) and danced with folk artistes at Rohetgarh fort near Jodhpur.
