Live blog, live stream: Samsung's Galaxy Note III, Galaxy Gear launch event

Unlike other major recent and upcoming tech launches, there have been fewer leaks about the Samsung Galaxy Note III and therefore there is an increased eagerness in knowing what Samsung has lined up next for its top-of-the-line phablet.

What we saw in the leaked images and specs of the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch didn't impress us much, it could very well be quite different from the real deal. We will only get to know as the Samsung event at IFA Berlin unfurls.
