He based the orientation session completely on how to look for opportunities to exploit the internet to make money.

Talking on ‘ How and  Why Information is a commodity? He presented his own story of how he made clocks using the Tamil numericals, and how he had used internet to sell his product.

He said, “ I just  don’t sell a clock to keep time, Together with it I am also selling the literature, which  explains the philosophy, science, math and heritage behind each Tamil numerical, which I am sure will give the person buying the product a sense of possessing a piece of history.”

To prove his point, “Small changes in the existing business is the way forward’ He said, “Clocks have always been there; now with a small change like Tamil numericals, I even managed to sell about 500 clocks to the Swiss from the clock country.”

He said, “ It is a small idea, a new concept that changes everything. Keeping coming up with something new, being your boss  is all about innovating, I guess it is a much better idea than working for someone.”
